Integration - Schick and PBS Endo

Once set up, you will be able to launch Schick directly from PBS Endo and have the information on your Currently Selected patient made available.

To activate the Schick integration in PBS Endo: 

In PBS Endo, click on Help and About; the version displays in the lower left corner.

For PBS Endo Version 8:

1. Pull down the Master File menu, and click on Practice SetUp.
2. Click on the pop-up next to the Radiography field, and click on Schick.
3. In the pop-up beside the “Passing” field, choose ACCT.
4. Click on OK to close the Practice SetUp window.  Exit PBS Endo.

For PBS Endo Version 7 or less:

1. Pull down the Master File menu, and click on Practice SetUp.
2. Click on the Integration button.
3. Click on Edit in the Control Panel.
4. Click on the pop-up next to the Radiography field, and click on Schick.
5. In the pop-up beside the “Passing” field, choose ACCT.
6. Click on Save in the Control Panel
7. Close the Practice SetUp window and exit PBS Endo.

To Use PBS Endo and Schick Radiography:

Launch both PBS and Schick. 

You should now see both programs identified on the Windows Taskbar.

With PBS Endo running, make your Currently Selected patient the one whose radiographs you want to either create or review.

Make sure that Schick is at its blank, opening window. 

From the Daily Activity menu in PBS Endo, click on Radiography.

PBS Endo automatically passes the Currently Selected patient’s information to Schick, which will either display this patient’s current radiographs, or allow you to capture new ones.

If the patient is a new patient to Schick, you will be taken to the new Patient Information window, with the patient’s data automatically filled in.

Once you click on OK, Schick will be ready to capture your new images. When finished, return to Schick’s blank, opening window.
